Uxbridge Hospital Foundation

Our work with Uxbridge Hospital Foundation began with a request for updated print materials, including business cards, envelopes, and in-memoriam cards. As we reviewed their existing assets, we saw an opportunity to help strengthen and modernize their visual identity while maintaining the recognition and trust they had built within the community.

Working closely with the Foundation, we explored ways to enhance their existing Oak Valley Health collaboration logo. One of our recommendations was creating a vertically stacked version of the logo, giving the organization greater flexibility across print materials, signage, marketing collateral, and digital platforms.

From there, the project evolved into a subtle brand refinement. We updated the typography and reworked the existing leaf emblem so that it gently cradled the acorn in a distinct “U” shape. This thoughtful detail symbolizes the Foundation’s role in supporting the hospital, which in turn supports the health and well-being of the entire community.

The result was a refreshed visual identity that remained familiar to donors and stakeholders while providing greater versatility and consistency across all of the Foundation’s materials.

We designed a playful yet professional pull-up banner, a custom-branded table cloth, and notepad for attendees to use at the conference and beyond. CDAAC came to us with an existing logo and solidified style guide, which gave us a great foundation to build upon. We took their well-established aesthetic, and were able to transition it into eye-catching print materials that felt celebratory for their 30th anniversary while still feeling professional for their conference.

Why We Loved This Project

As a Uxbridge-based agency, supporting organizations that make a meaningful impact in our community is especially rewarding. What started as a stationery update quickly grew into a collaborative branding project, allowing us to help tell the Foundation’s story in a more intentional and cohesive way.

Many nonprofit organizations face the challenge of keeping their branding current while preserving the trust and recognition they’ve built over the years. We love helping nonprofits find that balance through thoughtful branding, graphic design, print materials, and marketing support that reflect their mission and strengthen their connection with donors, volunteers, and the communities they serve.

Projects like this are a reminder that even small design updates can have a lasting impact when they’re rooted in purpose and aligned with an organization’s story.
