Communicative Disorders Assistant Association of Canada (CDAAC)

CDAAC advocates for Communicative Disorders Assistants (CDAs) nationwide, the dedicated professionals who support vital speech, language, and hearing therapies. When they partnered with us to prepare for their first post-pandemic, in-person conference, which also marked their 30th anniversary, we knew the event visuals and promotional materials needed to be just as meaningful as the milestone itself.

Conference & Event Print Design

For their first in-person event in years, CDAAC wanted to make a memorable statement for its attendees at their spring conference hosted at Georgian College in Barrie. Stepping back into in-person events after years of virtual experiences is a big deal, and CDAAC needed a cohesive, professional setup that welcomed everyone with open arms.

We designed a playful yet professional pull-up banner, a custom-branded table cloth, and notepad for attendees to use throughout the conference weekend and beyond. CDAAC came to us with an existing logo and solidified style guide, which gave us a great foundation to build upon. We took their well-established aesthetic, and were able to transition it into eye-catching print materials that felt celebratory for their 30th anniversary while still feeling professional for their conference.

Why We Loved This Project

Working with the CDAAC team was a pleasure. Their beautiful colour palette and distinctive iconography provided a strong creative foundation, making the design process both smooth and enjoyable. Supporting an organization with a 30-year legacy of advocacy is meaningful work, and we’re proud to have created a cohesive visual identity that will help them connect with their community and move confidently into the next decade.
