As Shopify continues to develop better tools for creating stronger website design, we are seeing more and more clients ditch their static site in favour of one platform to manage everything.
Main Street Pools began with Shopify as a POS, added an commerce site and have now left their WordPress platform behind in favour of managing everything from one place.
The team at Main Street Pools were investigating a new POS system that would have a tie-in with an e-commerce website. They asked for our advice and we suggested they have a look at Shopify. Not only do you get a strong e-commerce website, but you can use the Shopify base plan as your in-store POS system for no additional cost monthly fee.
A couple years prior, we updated their WordPress site to extensively feature their Sundance Spa products and services. It was important to be able to carry over the breadth of information and images onto the new site which was why a carefully chosen Shopify theme was key for this build. Advanced functionality for design options are what make a strong theme a good investment for a site that is functioning as a hybrid between e-commerce and static informational content.
Main Street Pools uses the Shopify POS to manage inventory, issue invoices and receive payments – all from one place. This allows for less time spent transferring data between platforms and more time to spend on the core business.
